Buckden Village
As a staging post on the Great North Road, Buckden has played host to visitors for centuries. It offers a range of services including general stores, newsagent, butcher, hairdressing salon and ladies fashion and shoe shop. Two historic coaching inns and a public house offer hospitality and good food.
Just a mile east of the village, the River Ouse flows through the Buckden Marina complex, while to the west is Grafham Water with its nature reserves and facilities for sailing, cycling and walking.
Further afield, Cambridge, Peterborough and Bedford are no more than 25 miles away.
